Aluminum of Kazakhstan company reduced clay soil production down to KZT590 th in January - June of 2001

/IRBIS, July 25, 01/ - According to the representative of Almaty REUTERS bureau by results of first six months of 2001, Aluminum of Kazakhstan company reduced clay soil production down to 590.518 tonnes from the initial 597.340 tonnes produced last year in January-June. The representative informed - "The insignificant reduction is due to irregularity of some suppliers". Being in Pavlodar she said by phone - "Suppose that we will get till the end of year". Last year Aluminum of Kazakhstan company produced 1.2m tonnes of clay soil and plans to produce the same volume this year. As of results of first six months of 2001 bauxite extraction increased by 1.73 m of tonnes relative to 1.68 m tonnes of last year similar period. The company has also increased production of gallium by 10,452 kg from 3,015 kg of last year similar period, sulfate aluminum by 26,869 tonnes from 22,474 upon the results of last year's first six months. Goods production distribution in first six months of this year grew up by KZT14.8bn from KZT12.267bn of last year's six months. In January-June investments totaled KZT2.2bn and grew up by 78.9% relative to similar period of last year. Aluminum of Kazakhstan is the member of group of companies controlled by Eurasian bank and unites Pavlodar aluminum plant, mines and energygenerating sites. The company basically provides Russian aluminum plants with clay soil.
