The cargo turnover of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy NSE rose up at 7.6% in first six months of 2001

/IRBIS, July 11, 01/- GSRW of July 10, 01 informs that with reference to public relations department of the Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, the company's cargo turnover grew 7.6% to 63.37bn tonne-kilometers in the first half of 2001 against the same period of the previous year. The cargo load was above 78.35m tones or 105.6% over the same period in 2000. Transportation of strategic products increased as well. 37.28m tones (108.5%) of coal, 9.93m tones (113.5%) of oil and oil products, and 5.18m tones (107.1%) of non-ferrous ores were loaded.
