In January–September 2016 volume of foreign currency traded on KASE decreased by 44.7 % and made up KZT27.3 trln (USD78.6 bn)

/KASE, October 10, 2016/ – In January–September 2016 the volume of foreign currencies traded on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including currency swap transactions, made KZT27,349.0 bn (equivalent to USD78,619.5 mln) and decreased by 44.7 % against the same period of 2015 (by 69.4 % in dollar terms). In comparison with the previous nine-month period (April–December 2015) the volume of trades decreased by 31.6 % (by 52.1 % in dollar terms).
