Kazakhstan Temir Zholy purchases KZT4.255bn worth of production over five months

/IRBIS, June 25, 01/ - According to GSRW, the press center of Kazakhstan
Temir Zholy (KTZ) says that the company purchased a KZT4.255bn worth of
local production over past five months, which is 47.5% of the annual plan.
KTZ plans to place a 25.2bn tenge worth of orders with domestic producers
under the import substitution program for 2002-2003. Last year, this index
stood at KZT6.9bn; it is planned to raise it to KZT8.96bn in 2001.
