Monetary mass (M3) in Kazakhstan as of May 1, 2001 - KZT408.3bn

/IRBIS, June 20, 01/ - REUTERS informs, with the reference to the Statistics agency of Kazakhstan, that as of May 1, 2001 monetary mass (M3) increased to KZT408.3bn from KZT270.2bn on similar date of last year. In reporting period the proportion of cash within total monetary mass is said to have increased by 1.6%. It is also said that KZT3.2bn was issued into the circulation in April of this year.
