In August number of individual accounts involved in shares transactions on KASE decreased by 20 %

/KASE, September 7, 2016/ – In August 2016 the number of individual accounts involved in shares transactions on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), decreased by 20 % compared with the previous month. The percentage of individuals in the gross turnover of shares in monetary terms decreased to 54.2 % from 62.0 % in July, 2016. As of the end of August there were 103,808 personal accounts at Central Securities Depository JSC (hereinafter – CD) opened by individuals, which is by 315 accounts more than at the end of the previous month, and by 2,296 accounts more than at the beginning of 2016.
