In January–August 2016 volume of corporate bond trading on KASE decreased 43.1 % and made up KZT381.1 bn ($1,109.9 mln)

/KASE, September 2, 2016/ – In January–August 2016 the volume of corporate
bond trading on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE)* made up KZT381.1 bn
(equivalent of US$1,109.9 mln) and decreased 43.1 % against the similar period
of 2015 (by 68.9 % in dollar terms).
In comparison with the previous eight-month period (May–December 2015) the
bonds trade volume decreased by 58.1 % (by 71.5 % in dollar terms).
The table below shows the trade volume in the mentioned exchange market
sector in 2016 with breakdown by month and comparative data of the similar
period of 2015 (in the buying-selling sector bonds placement deals are
possible).
