KazTransOil increased oil transportaiton in Jan-Apr 2001 to 10 mln tones

/IRBIS, June 5, 01/ - REUTERS informs, with the reference to PR department of the KazTransOil, that in January-April 2001 the company increased oil transportation to 10.339 mln tons from 8.637 mln tons in first 4 months of last year. It is said that proceeds from transportation tariffs reached KZT13.901 bln in four months, or by 72% more than similar figure of last year. Cargo turnover is said to have increased by 6.686 bln ton-kilometers during this period, from 5.797 bln ton-kilometers in similar period of last year, is said. Annual production of oil and condensate reaches 30-33 mln tons in Kazakhstan.
