KAZAKHOIL NOC CJSC to participate in Amangeldy gas field exploration

/IRBIS, May 31, 01/ - According to REUTERS, KAZAKHOIL decided to take part in exploration and development of Amangelgy gas field considering social importance of the project. The company would conduct geological exploration, data analysis of seismic testing, technological and economic evaluation of the field. The company's participation would speed up industrial development of the field. The produced gas will be supplied to southern regions of Kazakhstan, thus substituting imports. At present, the license on development of Amangeldy field belongs to KazTransGas CJSC, affiliated structure of Oil and Gas Transportation.
