In July number of individual accounts involved in shares transactions on KASE increased by 43 %

/KASE, August 12, 2016/ – In July 2016 the number of individual accounts involved in shares transactions on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), increased by 43 % compared with the previous month. The percentage of individuals in the gross turnover of shares in monetary terms increased to 62.0 % from 56.1 % in June 2016. As of the end of July there were 103,493 personal accounts at Central Securities Depository (hereinafter – the CD) opened by individuals, which is by 179 accounts more than at the end of the previous month, and by 1,981 accounts more than at the beginning of 2016.
