/IRBIS, Apr 17, 01/ - REUTERS informs, with the reference to the Statistics
agency of Kazakhstan, that as of March 1, 2001 the volume of monetary
mass (M3) increased by 5.4% compared to February, at KZT404.1 bln.
It is said that the proportion of the cash declined by 0.2% during February
2001.
Issue of banknotes equaled KZT3.7 bln in February 2001, was added.
