Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan intends to offer MEOKAM-24 and MEOKAM-36 on March 19 and 20

/IRBIS, March 16, 01/ -The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan has planned to conduct two issues of GB in the twelfth week of year 2001 (March 19 - 20): MEOKAM-24 and MEOKAM-36. MEOKAM-24 offering auction (issue #38) will be held on March 19. The payment date is March 21. Maturity date - March 19, 03. Coupon payments - Sep.19, 01; March 20, 02; Sep.18, 02; March 19, 03. Circulation term - 728 days. Planned issue volume - KZT300 mln. MEOKAM-36 offering auction (issue #32) will be held on March 20. The payment date is March 21. Maturity date - March 17, 04. Coupon payments - Sept 19, 01; March 20, 02; Sept 18, 02; March 19, 03; Sept 17, 03; March 19, 04. Circulation term - 1,092 days. Planned issue volume - KZT400 mln. Restriction for noncompetitive applications for these issues - 50%. In the next week the repayment volume of domestic GB of the Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan is estimated at KZT754.6 mln. Total repayment volume of domestic GB from March 19 to 25 (including the National Bank notes and coupon payments for MEOKAM) is estimated at KZT2,683.8 mln.
