In January–March 2016 volume of foreign currency trading on KASE decreased by 50.9 % and made up KZT11.7 trln ($32.6 bn)

/KASE, April 7, 16/ – In January–March 2016 the volume of foreign currencies traded on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including currency swap transactions, made up KZT11,746.3 bn (equivalent to USD32,623.3 mln) and decreased by 50.9 % (by 74.8 % in dollar terms) against the respective period of 2015. In comparison with the previous three-month period (October–December 2015) the trades volume decreased by 29.9 % (41.8 % in dollar terms).
