Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan intends to offer MEOKAM-24 and MEOKAM-36 on March 5 and 6

/IRBIS, March 2, 01/ -The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan has planned to conduct two issues of GB in the tenth week of year 2001 (March 5 - 11): MEOKAM-24 and MEOKAM-36. MEOKAM-24 offering auction (issue #36) will be held on March 5. The payment date is March 7. Maturity date - March 5, 03. Coupon payments - Sep 5, 01; March 6, 02; Sep 4, 02; March 5, 03. Circulation term - 728 days. Planned issue volume - KZT300 mln. MEOKAM-36 offering auction (issue #30) will be held on March 6. The payment date is March 7. Maturity date - March 3, 04. Coupon payments - Sep 5, 01; March 6, 02; Sep 4, 02; March 5, 03; Sep 3, 03; March 3, 04. Circulation term - 1,092 days. Planned issue volume - KZT400 mln. Restriction for noncompetitive applications for these issues - 50%. In the next week the repayment volume of domestic GB of the Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan is estimated at KZT2,019.9 mln at current official rate of the National Bank. Total repayment volume of domestic GB from February 26 through March 4 (including the National Bank notes and a coupon payment for MEOKAM) is estimated at KZT9,573.2 mln.
