Coupon of NSB-13 for the next circulation quarter is 6.38% APR

/IRBIS, Feb 27, 01/ - The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan determined the coupon rate for the national savings bonds (NSB) of the 13th issue (KZ4CL2308A12) for the next circulation quarter at 6.38% APR. The coupon should be accrued on May 24, 01 for KZT2,392.5 th. The coupon rate was determined by weighted average return of MEKKAM-3 of the 279th issue (KZ43L2405A12), which was offered by the Ministry of Finance at the auction on February 20, 2001. On February 22, 2001 the Ministry of Finance paid the coupon on NSB-13 at 7.29% APR for a total of KZT2,733.75 th. Today there are two issues of NSB in circulation for a total of KZT320 mln at face value, the twelfth (KZ4CL2704A12, KZT170 mln) and thirteenth (KZ4CL2308A12, KZT150 mln). So far, the Ministry of Finance does not plan any new issues.
