The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan intends to offer MEKKAM-3, MEOKAM-24 and MEOKAM-36 on January 22, 23 and 25

/IRBIS, Jan 19, 01/ -The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan has planned to conduct three issues of GB in the fourth week of year 2001 (Jan 22-28): MEKKAM-3, MEOKAM-24 and MEOKAM-36. MEKKAM-3 offering auction (issue #278) will be held on January 22. The payment date is January 25. Maturity date - Apr 26, 01. Circulation term - 91 days. Planned issue volume - KZT100 mln. MEOKAM-24 offering auction (issue #29) will be held on January 23. The payment date is January 25. Maturity date - January 23, 03. Coupon payments - July 26, 01; Jan 24, 02; July 25, 02; Jan 23, 03. Circulation term - 728 days. Planned issue volume - KZT400 mln. MEOKAM-36 offering auction (issue #21) will be held on January 25. The payment date is January 26. Maturity date - January 23, 04. Coupon payments - July 27, 01; Jan 25, 02; July 26, 02; Jan 24, 03; July 25, 03; Jan 23, 04. Circulation term - 1,092 days. Planned issue volume - KZT500 mln. Restriction for noncompetitive applications for these issues - 50%. In the next week the repayment volume of domestic GB of the Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan is estimated at KZT552.7 mln at current rate of the National Bank. Total repayment volume of domestic GB from January 22 through 28 (including the National Bank notes and coupon payments for bonds of NSB) is estimated at KZT5,270.7 mln.
