In January–November 2016 volume of foreign currency traded on KASE decreased by 47.1 % and made up KZT32.1 trln (USD92.9 bn)

/KASE, December 12, 2016/ – In January–November 2016 the volume of foreign currencies traded on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including currency swap transactions, reached KZT32,144.5 bn (equivalent to USD92,898.5 mln) and decreased 47.1 % against the same period of 2015 (68.6 % in dollar terms). In comparison with the previous eleven-month period (February–December 2015) the volume of trades decreased by 43.8 % (64.8 % in dollar terms).
