Coupon rate of NSB-13 for the next circulation quarter is 7.29% APR

/IRBIS, Nov.28, 00/ - The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan determined coupon rate of the national savings bonds (NSB) of the 13th issue (KZ4CL2308A12) for the next quarter of circulation at 7.29% APR. The coupon should be charged on Feb.22,01 for KZT2,733.75 th. and by the regulations paid within 10 business days, beginning from Feb.23,01. The rate has been determined based on weighted average return of MEKKAM-3 of the 275th issue (KZ43L0103A11), which was offered by the Ministry of Finance today. Not long ago (Oct.26,00), the Ministry of Finance paid coupon on NSB-12 at 11.99% APR. After that the return of NSB-12 for the next circulation quarter has been set at 7.37% APR by the results of 273rd issue of MEKKAM-3 offering auction (KZ43L1901A13) on Oct.26,00. Now, there are only two issues of these bonds in circulation - 12th and 13th for a total of KZT320 mln at face value. Yet, the Ministry of Finance plans to offer the next issue of NSB in December of this year. However, this plan may change.
