/KASE, September 16, 15/ – National Managing Holding KazAgro JSC
(Astana), whose bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(KASE), has provided KASE with the following statement:

Since 2001 about 8,000 units of various agricultural machinery and equipment
have been shipped to the Republic of Kazakhstan from the Russian Federation
under the national holding KazAgro totaling to KZT140 bn. It was noted the
Chairman of the Management Board of National Managing Holding KazAgro JSC
Nurlybek Malelov during the XII Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Russia
and Kazakhstan now being held in Sochi. According to the head of the
Kazakhstan Developments Institute the cooperation in this area with the Russian
manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment is a duty of a subsidiary
of the national holding KazAgro – KazAgroFinance JSC.
By this time, the products made by the Russian manufacturers comprise 23% of
the total technical equipment shipped by the company to Kazakhstan. In general,
under the national holding KazAgro the purchase by farms and agricultural
companies of the Republic of more than 33 thousand units of agricultural
machinery and equipment was financed, which is more than 55% of the total
volume of equipment shipped to the country.
