Kcell takes measures to protect subscribers' interests

/KASE, August 11, 15/ – Kcell JSC (Almaty), whose shares are officially listed
on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following
information statement:

JSC "Kcell" ("Kcell" or the "Company") (LSE, KASE: KCEL), states that the
Company has been forced to take measures to protect the tariff "Hallo,
Kazakhstan".
On 3 June 2015, as part of implementation of the state policy on cut of prices
for cellular services as well as in the interests of company's subscribers,
Kcell launched for activ subscribers a unique range of tariff plans "Hallo,
Kazakhstan". In just 2 months, these tariffs have become the most popular among
the activ subscribers.
Currently, Kcell JSC is under the unprecedented pressure on the part of one of
the operators, including through the media and social networks, aimed at forcing
Kcell JSC to discontinue the above tariff plans. To defend the interests of its
customers, protect the tariffs "Hallo, Kazakhstan" against the attacks of the
competitor within the legal framework, Kcell has already taken a number of
measures.
The Company also informs that holds a number of measures to protect the
interests of bona fide subscribers against those whose actions may have a
negative impact on their user experience. Kcell JSC states that in spite of the
pressure of its competitor, it will continue to defend the interests of its
customers, based on the RK legislation.
