The second GS offering auction, which was held on Monday, did not get great demand. However, the Ministry of Finance did not aimed at getting as much money as possible. The issuer limited itself to one bid only, though it could raise more. The rates of the shortest money on interbank over-the-counter market on Monday evening were at 1% APR, which indicates that the liquidity of the second tier banks in tenge was sufficient. Therefore, more larger demand should be expected at the offerings of more interesting securities during the week.
