In April number of individual accounts involved in shares transactions on KASE increased by 73 %

/KASE, May 19, 15/ – In April 2015 the number of individual accounts involved in shares transactions on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), increased by 73 % compared with the previous month. At the same time the percentage of individuals in the gross turnover of shares in monetary terms increased to 56.6 % from 53.7 % in March (not taking into account special trading sessions and results of subscription to ordinary shares of BAST JSC). As of the end of April there were 100,027 personal accounts at Central Securities Depository JSC (hereinafter – CD) opened by individuals, which is by 522 accounts more than at the end of the previous month, and by 11,969 account more than at the beginning of 2015.
