Capitalisation of the Kazakhstan Exchange market of securities decreased by $2.8 mln down to $1,331.0 mln during the week

/IRBIS, Aug. 18, 00/ - On Aug. 18 capitalisation of the Exchange market for securities of Kazakhstan equalled $1,331.0 mln. The market capitalisation decreased by $2.8 mln during the last calendar week. Decrease in capitalisation was mainly caused by exclusion of Bayan-Otel CJSC ordinary shares from trade lists and 15% fall in market value of Kazakhtelecom ordinary shares. Changing quotations of other securities did not affect capitalisation as only one deal was made during the week. Currently, 70 instruments of 49 issuers can be traded at the trade floor of the KASE.
