/KASE, July 10, 00/ - As it was informed earlier, at the offering of the first
part of discounted bonds of RGP "Kazakhstan temir joly" (KZ2CLALN6A19,
KASE official list of securities, category "A", trade code - TMJLb) at
Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) demand exceeded supply 1.82 times. It
allowed the issuer to float planned volume of the first part of the issue
(amount of the tranche at face value - 10 mln U.S. dollars) and declare the
floatation completed ahead of shekel.
Since the first tranche was floated within one day, and demand exceeded the
supply significantly, the issuer decided to float the second part of the
issue immediately (amount of the tranche at face value - 5 mln U.S.
dollars) in the trade system of KASE on July 12, 2000.
The auction terms are similar to that of the offering of the first part of the
issue.
The applications for the auction will be submitted on July 12, 2000 in the
trade system of KASE from 12:00PM till 1:00PM Almaty time. The price of
a bond expressed in percents of the face value will be the subject to the
auction. The number of bonds will be shown in their face values. The volume
of a deal will be defined as a product of a price and face value divided by
100%.
Bids satisfaction is conducted by the issuer after the cut-off. Bids are cut off
if their prices lower than cut-off price. All bids with prices that are lower
or the same to the cut-off price are satisfied on the basis of submitted price.
Only competitive bids are accepted to the auction.
The payment on purchased bonds is made on the next day after the auction
till 18:00PM Almaty time in Kazakhstani tenge at weighted average rate of
the KASE main (morning) session, effective on the payment date.
Applications can be submitted only by members of KASE of category "P"
(right to participate in trades in private issue securities, which are admitted
to official list of the Exchange). Complete list of KASE members holding

The Exchange emphasizes that RGP "Kazakhstan temir joly" discounted
bonds can be purchased using pension assets of private accumulative
pension funds, since they are entered into KASE official list of securities
under category "A."
