NSC approved amendments to the trade rules of KASE

/IRBIS, June 14, 00/ - KASE received today notification of National Securities Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan on approval of several amendments to the trade rules of the Exchange. The notification states that according to "On approval of exchange trade rules" resolution (#621, June 8, 2000), the Commission's Board approved amendments to the trade rules at the exchange that had been accepted by the decision of KASE members holding "K", "P", "H" categories (May 18, 2000). Amendments were approved in following documents: - "Regulation on the responsibility for violation of settlement terms"; - "Rates of membership and commission fees collected by the exchange"; - "Rules on conclusion of repo deals"; - Addition 1 to "Rules on market-maker activity"; - "Regulation on conduction of payments at the results of operations in securities". The commission informs that the internal document of KASE "Regulation on conduction of payments at the results of operations in securities" approved by decision of general meeting of KASE members (Oct. 14, 1999) holding "K", "P", "H" categories and confirmed by the Board of NSC (#462 Oct. 29, 1999), loses its validity.
