/KASE, December 31, 14/ – KazTransOil JSC (Astana), whose shares are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press-release: quote KazTransOil finalized partial completion of reconstruction of pipeline TON- 2 Kazakhstan section KazTransOil JSC announced completion of works scheduled for 2014 aimed at selective replacement of linear part of Kazakhstan section of Tuimazy – Omsk – Novosibirsk – II (TON-2) pipeline with a total length of 40 km. Reconstruction of TON-2 is being carried to ensure the safe transportation of oil through the Kazakhstan section of the pipeline, including the Russian oil destined for further deliveries to China through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan following Omsk – Priirtyshsk – Atasu – Alashankou route in accordance with the Agreement signed by the Governments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation to cooperate in the field of Russian oil transportation through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan to China. Based on the in-line inspection phased pipeline replacement priority measures have been identified for the trouble-free annual oil pumping in an amount of 7 million tons.
