The Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan plans to offer MEKKAM-6 and MEKKAM-12 on May 29 and 30

/IRBIS, May 26, 00/ - The Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan has planned two issues of SS in the first half of the next week: MEKKAM-6 and MEKKAM-12. MEKKAM-6 offering auction (issue #147) will be held on May 29. Settlement date - June 1. Maturity date - Nov.30, 2000. Circulation term - 182 days. Planned issue volume - KZT500 mln. MEKKAM-12 offering auction (issue #50) will be held on May 30. Settlement date - June 1. Maturity date - May 31, 2001. Circulation term - 364 days. Planned issue volume - KZT500 mln. Restriction for non-competitive applications for these issues - 50%. Repayment volume of domestic SS of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan in the next week (May 29 - June 04) is estimated at KZT1,680.3 mln at official rate of KZT142.40 per dollar. Total repayment volume of domestic Kazakhstan's SS during May 29 - June 04 (including the notes of the National Bank) equals KZT3,356.2 mln. The Ministry of finance does not exclude the possibility of holding other offerings in the second half of the week with the details being announced later.
