Kazkommertsbank receives new license for carrying out banking and other transactions and activities on securities market

/KASE, December 10, 14/ – Kazkommertsbank JSC (Almaty), whose securities are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press-release of December 8, 2014: quote Kazkommertsbank JSC (hereinafter - the Bank) has announced the receipt of the updated single license for carrying out banking and other transactions and execution of activities on the security market. The updated license was issued by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the Law of RK of May 16, 2014, No. 203-V "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan related to the regulatory approval system." The banking operation "Organization of exchange transactions with foreign currency" was amended by adding the words "including organization of exchange transactions with cash foreign currency." The license for carrying out banking and other transactions and activities on securities market No. 48 of December 27, 2007, was returned to the National Bank of Kazakhstan. In the updated license contains amended number, license date of issue and the licensor, respectively, the details of the updated banking license are as follows: "License for carrying out banking and other transactions and execution of activities on the security market No. 1.2.16/222/32 issued by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 2, 2014". No changes with regards to the range of banking services provided by the Bank to its clients will result from the update of the said license.
