Stock market capitalization for PIS of Kazakhstan as of May 5 - $1,621.7 mln

/IRBIS, May 5, 00/ - On May 5 stock market capitalization for corporate securities of Kazakhstan (A+B+N excluding SBS) equaled 1,621.7 mln US dollars. Capitalization decreased by $4.0 mln during the week. The change was caused by: - removal from trade lists common and preferred shares of OJSC "Neftekhimbank" (Shymkent); - entering into trade lists of KASE on May 3 common shares of OJSC "Atyraumunaionimderi", common shares of OJSC "Munaiaspap", common shares of OJSC "Ontustikmunaigas"; - growth in market value of common shares of OJSC "Bank TuranAlem" by 1.4% and that of preferred shares of OJSC "Kazakhtelecom" by 42.5%. Now 60 instruments of 41 companies and 4 government block of shares can be traded on the floor of KASE.
