In period January–October 2014 foreign currency trade volume on KASE increased 1.7 times and made up KZT23.6 trln ($132.3 bn)

/KASE, November 5, 14/ – In the period January–October 2014 the volume of foreign currency trading on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including currency swap transactions, made up KZT23,586.1 bn (equivalent of USD132,254.8 mln) increasing against the same period of 2013 1.7 times (1.4 times in dollar terms). In comparison with the previous ten month period (March–December 2013) the trading volume increased by 47.0 % (25.8 % in dollar terms).
