Additional placement of MEKKAM-3 at 96.45 (14.72% APR)

/IRBIS, Apr.27, 00/ - Today the Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan with the National Bank of Kazakhstan holds an auction for placing the state treasury bills MEKKAM with 91 days of circulation (#263/3) within planned volume of KZT500 mln. After processing submitted applications cut-off price was settled at 96.45 tenge per MEKKAM. Primary agents and their investors were suggested to submit additional applications at 96.45 tenge per MEKKAM, which corresponds to 14.72% APR. Compared to previous issue yield of MEKKAM-3 decreased by 34 percentage points (from 15.07% APR).
