The Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan plans to offer MEKKAM-12 and MEKKAM-6 on APRIL 24 and 25

/IRBIS, Apr.21, 00/ - The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan has planned to offer at the first half of the next week two issues of SS: MEKKAM-12 and MEKKAM-6. MEKKAM-12 offering auction (issue #44 KZ4CL2604A13) will be held on April 24 with transfer of funds for purchased MEKKAM on April 27. Maturity date - Apr.26, 2001. Circulation term - 364 days. Planned issue volume - KZT500 mln. MEKKAM-6 offering auction (issue #139, KZ46L2610A02) will be held on April 25 with transfer of funds for purchased MEKKAM on April 27. Maturity date - Oct.26, 2000. Circulation term - 182 days. Planned issue volume - KZT500 mln. Repayment volume for the securities of the Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan for the next week (April 24 - 30) is estimated to equal KZT850.9 mln at KZT142.25 per dollar official rate (at April 27, $6.9 mln MEKAVM-6 of 19 issue, KZ46L2004A06). Total repayment amount of SS for the period of April 24-30 (including notes of the National Bank) - KZT1,734.2 mln. The Ministry of finance does not exclude the possibility of holding other offerings in the second half of the week, which will be announced additionally.
