The Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan plans to offer MEKAVM-6 till the end of the week

/IRBIS, March 28, 00/ - In addition to previously announced SS offerings, the Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan has planned to issue MEKAVM-6. MEKAVM-6 offering auction (issue #29, NIN will be published later) will be held on March 30 with transfer of funds for purchased MEKAVM on March 31. Maturity date - Sep.29, 00. Circulation term - 182 days. Planned issue volume - USD4 mln. The last time MEKAVM-6 were offered on January 28 of current year. In IRBIS specialists' opinion, the Ministry of finance needs to resume the issue of indexed by devaluation SS due to low demand for MEKKAM-6 and MEKKAM-12 while the need to service current borrowings is constant. It is also possible that coupon payments on the second issue euronotes scheduled on April 2 is affecting as well.
