Additional session of KASE closed at 140.04/08 tenge per dollar

/IRBIS, Feb.24, 00/ - At Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) additional (day) trades in U.S. dollars, Deutsche marks and euros with TOD terms were held. 7 banks participated in the trades. 5 deals were made during the trade for a total of $1.000 mln. At closing of the session (3:30PM) dollar was at 140.04/08 tenge per unit. At 3:30PM in trades in dollars with TOM and with SPOT terms deals were not made yet. With TOM terms demand was at 140.07 tenge per unit with no offer. For SPOT terms quotations were absent. At 3:30PM on interbank currency market dollar quotations were at 140.07/12 tenge per dollar in REUTERS information system.
