The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan to place MEKKAM-6 and MEKKAM-12 in the next week

/IRBIS, Feb.16, 00/ - Next week (February 21 - 27) the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan planes two auctions: MEKKAM-6 and MEKKAM-12. MEKKAM-6 auction (issue #124, NIN will be published later) will be held on February 21 with settlement date February 24. Maturity date - Aug.24, 00. Term of circulation - 182 days. Scheduled issue volume - 500 million tenges. MEKKAM-12 auction (issue #32, NIN will be published later) will be held on February 22 with settlement date February 24. Maturity date - Feb.22, 01. Term of circulation - 364 days. Scheduled volume of issue - 500 million tenges. Total Ministry of Finance payments under the State Security program in the next week should make 1,664.9 million tenges (the advance settlements are unknown). They includes MEKKAM-3 of 250 issue (KZ43L2502A06) complete redemption, payment and coupon compensation on the rest of MEOKAM of 6-th issue (KZ52L2402A05) converting (Apr.03, 99). The Ministry of Finance employees does not exclude a possibility of advance settlement of some before issued securities in the end of the next.
