Additional session of KASE in USD_TOD closed at 139.85/90

/IRBIS, Feb.9, 00/ - At Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) additional (day) trades in U.S. dollars, Deutsche marks and euros with TOD terms were held. In the trade system bids were submitted by three banks. Four deals were made during the trade for a total of $1.000 mln at 139.86 - 139.89 tenge per dollar. The session closed at 139.85/90. The session was characterized by an unusual high activity of the dealers and gradual firming of the dollar. At closing of the day session dollar was quoted at 139.82/92 with TOM terms, and - 139.84/95 with SPOT terms. So far, the only deal was made with SPOT terms at 139.87 tenge per dollar.
