/KASE, May 16, 14/ – Zhaikmunai LLP (Oral), whose bonds are officially listed on
Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), today provided KASE with the following
information statement:

Nostrum Oil & Gas LP (LSE: NOG.L) ("Nostrum"), the oil and gas exploration,
development and production business is pleased to announce the coming into
effect of the substitution of Zhaikmunai LLP as the issuer, in place of Nostrum
Oil & Gas Finance B.V., of the notes issued on 14 February 2014. This
substitution was planned at the time of the original issue and was described in
the offering memorandum dated 10 February 2014.
On 14 February 2014 Nostrum Oil & Gas Finance B.V., successfully issued a US$
400 million senior bond with a 14 February 2019 maturity and a fixed coupon of
6.375% per annum (the "Notes"). The Notes were admitted to the Official List and
trading on the Global Exchange Market, which is the exchange regulated market of
the Irish Stock Exchange. On 8 April 2014, the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
("KASE") granted its consent for the admission of the Notes to the "rated debt
securities" category of the official list of the KASE, which became effective on
10 April 2014.
Following the listing of the Notes on the KASE, on 6 May 2014, Nostrum Oil & Gas
Finance B.V. and the existing guarantors of the Notes (including Zhaikmunai LLP)
entered into a supplemental indenture, as provided for and pursuant to Section
4.15 of the indenture governing the Notes, under which Zhaikmunai LLP assumed
all of the original issuer's obligations under the Notes and Nostrum Oil & Gas
Finance B.V. was released from its obligations under the Notes as the issuer
and became a guarantor of the Notes. The Notes also continue to be admitted to
the Official List and trading on the Global Exchange Market, which is the
exchange regulated market of the Irish Stock Exchange.
