The net international reserves of the National Bank of Kazakhstan has decreased in January to $1,479.3 million or by 2.7%

/IRBIS, Feb.07, 00/ - The National Bank of Kazakhstan informs, that during
January the gross international reserves of the National Bank have
decreased in the current prices to $1,937.3 million or by 3.3%. At that the
foreign currency reserves has decreased by %51.7 mln. As the reasons of it
the following events are mentioned:
- converting of the population's deposits, which were freeze at the transfer
to the floating tinge rate, to the sum of $36 man;
- the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank external debt service.
The net international reserves has decreased in January to $1,479.3 million
or by 2.7%.
