Additional placement of notes-49 at 98.24 (13.31% APR)

/IRBIS, Feb.4, 00/ - Today the National Bank of Kazakhstan holds an auction for placing the notes with 49 days of circulation (#368/n) within planned volume of KZT300 mln. After processing submitted applications cut-off price was settled at 98.23 tenge (13.39% APR). Primary dealers and their clients were suggested to submit additional applications at 98.24 tenge, which corresponds to 13.31% APR. Compared to previous issue yield of notes with 49 day circulation term decreased 46 percentage points (from 13.77% APR).
