Practically all market indicators speak about the further smooth tenge
strengthening.
By results of the dealer questioning conducted today by REUTERS, the
dealers explain the tendency by the recently receipts in the market of the
exporters foreign exchange earnings. In the dealer's opinion, USD demand
is now not so high, as it was in the beginning of month, and less than the
dollar supply. Therefore dollar decreases that is somewhat delayed be the
National Bank activity. However, considering three last market days, it looks
as the dealers overestimate the National Bank influence. An existing tenge /
dollar supply and demand balance is completely objective today.
The dealers also speak the interbank market is still more active than
Exchange's, despite of temporary cancellation on KASE of the commission.
The market is liquid and quiet.
In the second decade of February the dealers predict decrease of volume of
dollar sales that, in their opinion, is capable to result in some dollar
growth. "There are no special preconditions for tenge strengthening. It is
a question of supply and demand", - the dealer of CityBank Timur Gabbasov
has told today to REUTERS.
By the market indicators, tenge towards U.S. dollar on KASE on Friday is
capable to become somewhat stronger.
