/IRBIS, Feb.3, 00/ - Previously, it was said the training center of the Information agency for financial markets "IRBIS" (Almaty, Kazakhstan) had announced enrollment to correspondence courses for training stock market specialists to the state attestation in the areas of brokerage and dealing activities on the stock market and the registration of deals in securities. The course is planned for three months. After a successful completion of the program trainee will be asked to take the state attestation in the area of occupation he chose. Today the courses are being held. The first graduate was attested ahead of schedule. The agency has set 40% discount off the nominal cost of the courses for the students engaged on degree thesis. These student can be allowed to take the attestation after the graduation the college. Here the agency IRBIS gives answers to the most frequently asked questions. The courses cost an equivalent of 119.7 U.S. dollars in tenge at the Currency exchange's rate and it includes the prices of the textbook, methodical materials; normative documents that regulate the stock market; current consultations of the trainer by previously agreed means(mail, telephone, email etc), computer test before the attestation. All the information on the courses are given in the prospectus "Correspondence courses of brokers and registrars", which will be sent immediately at first request. The training is held without interruptions from the work. The courses are for the specialists of the stock market who intend to take an attestation for the first time in the areas of brokerage and dealing activities, registration of deals in securities, or whose three year license given by NSC for corresponding type of activities expires. The courses are also for the students engaged on degree thesis of economic and law colleges, and whose major relates to brokerage activities and registration of deals in securities. Foreign nationals can also be accepted for correspondence courses of the agency IRBIS, if they work in Kazakhstani company that can hire foreign workers. Foreign specialists take the state attestation of NSC on common basis. If they do not speak Russian very well, they are allowed to seek assistance of the interpreter. While in training the trainee receives the text book, collection of self-check questions, collection of normative acts and other materials. Upon completion of the training the trainee is granted with a certificate of successful completion of the courses, and after a successful attestation - a qualification certificate. Teaching aids can be bought as a set or as separate items. The agency IRBIS is willing to cooperate with training centers, by providing them with these materials, developing new ones, and thus, joining the efforts. There are no limitations on distribution of separate books and the brochures. Besides, the agency IRBIS also informs the program and documentation for organizing the internships of the students of economic colleges are prepared. This work is done due to the suggestions of the teachers. Three levels of the internship is planned: familiarization, course, and graduate thesis. They will differ in their prices. The teaching aid "Brokers and registrars on the stock market", devoted to training the specialists to the state attestation and to the students of economic majors of higher and middle level colleges, was finished. The work on this aid was financed by "EURASIA" foundation sponsored by United States Agency for International Development. Within the framework of this project more than thousand books will be given to colleges, training centers and participants of the monitoring on gratuitous basis. Then, at the end of the first quarter of the year 2000 a commercial edition will be issued for a sale. For educational institutions the book will cost twice as cheap as the nominal price. The agency still accepts orders for the book.
