USD/KZT at closing of the day - 139.29/34 (indicators)

/IRBIS, Febr.2, 00/ - According to REUTERS, at closing of interbank currency market of Kazakhstan on December 22 tenge quotations towards U.S. dollar equaled 139.29/34 tenge per dollar. Compared to the results of the previous day tenge remains stable against US dollar on demand and has lost 2 points on supply. In main (morning) session weighted average rate of the dollar with TOD terms equaled 139.34 (-0.01) tenge per dollar and closing quotations - 139.29/34. The dollar quotations at the closing of additional day session under the TOD accounts have made 139.28/33 tenges for dollar. At the closing of evening trades under the TOM and SPT accounts the dollar quotations were absent. By the day results the exchange market of Kazakhstan continues to be extremely stabile. It was especially clear on the morning exchange tenders. At the rather active banks of the second tier participation all 40 deals were made at the same price - 139.34 tenges for dollar. The National Bank has not conducted deals; therefore there were no any stabilizing influence of the Bank. The analysts of IRBIS do not see reasons, which on Thursday can change the dollar rate on KASE. It should remain stable or decrease a little bit.
