Assets of pension fund of Halyk bank of Kazakhstan - KZT10.6 bln

/IRBIS, Jan.31, 00/ - REUTERS informs, with the reference to CJSC Company of Halyk bank of Kazakhstan for pension asset management, that net pension assets of accumulative pension fund of Halyk bank of Kazakhstan reached KZT10,599,293,249 ($75.7 mln). This fund is one of the biggest private accumulative funds of the country. Most of the assets (89.06%) of the fund are invested into mid-term and long term state securities in foreign currency. Following is the structure of invested pension assets (in percents): Short term SS issued by the Ministry of finance in tenge 0.36 Short term SS issued by the Ministry of finance in foreign currency 2.58 Securities of the National bank in tenge 1.97 State securities of local executive bodies 0.37 Private securities of Kazakhstani companies in tenge 0.77 Private securities of Kazakhstani companies in foreign currency 4.89 Return of pension assets reached 73.72% from the beginning of last year based on accrual basis. Total amount of pension assets of one state and 15 private funds reached KZT64.5 bln ($460.7 mln), of which state fund account for KZT33.8 bln ($241.9 mln). Return of pension assets of state pension fund equaled 52.09% from the beginning of last year on accrual basis.
