NSC of Kazakhstan made corrections in figures of investment portfolio structures of pension funds

/IRBIS, Jan.25, 00/ - National securities commission of Kazakhstan (NSC) made corrections in figures of investment portfolio structures of accumulative pension funds (APF) as of January 1, 2000, which were published by the agency "IRBIS" on January 17. Invested assets of APF among financial instruments were distributed as follows (in parentheses - corresponding figures for December 1, 1999): - domestic SS of the Ministry of finance (KZT) - 4.22% (2.04%); - domestic SS of the Ministry of finance (USD) - 52.23% (53.61%); - eurobonds of Kazakhstan's sovereign debt (USD) - 36.18% (37.80%); - notes of the National Bank (KZT) - 2.43% (22.22%); - notes of the National Bank (KZT) - 0% (0.04%); - bonds of local executive bodies of Kazakhstan (USD) - 0.29% (0.08%); - private securities (KZT) - 0.37% (0.27%); - private securities (foreign currencies) - 2.62% (2.97%); - deposits and certificates of deposit (KZT) - 0.68% (0.11%); - deposits and certificates of deposit (foreign currencies) - 0.98% (0.16%); The correction was made in "Notes of the National Bank".
