Surplus of Kazakhstan's trade balance for January-November 1999 - positive $273.9 mln

/IRBIS, Jan.18, 00/ - According to the information of the Statistics agency of Kazakhstan, by preliminary estimates surplus of Kazakhstan's external trade balance (including CIS countries) from January-November 1999 equaled positive $273.9 mln. For comparable period of 1998 surplus was negative $1,500.6 mln. During January-November 1999 net exports reached $4,858.4 mln, imports - $4,584.5 mln. Corresponding figures for 1998 - $5,533.5 mln and $7,034.1 mln.
