/IRBIS, Jan.13, 00/ - On January 13 the National Bank of Kazakhstan held the 362nd auction for offering notes with 100 tenge par value. Circulation term - 35 days. Announced volume of the issue - 300 mln tenge. Size of satisfaction of noncompetitive applications is 60% of specified amount. The auction was held with additional placement, carried out during the day. Probably, the emitter hoped for the additional placement, but it happened only partially. The offered tool is too long and the yield essentially below than the potential yield of US dollar. Today the dollar price weekly trend equaled to 22.8 p.a. The National Bank has not increased the notes yield essentially. It testifies to reliance of the Bank in its control over exchange market.
