National managing holding KazAgro (Kazakhstan) cooperates with Hungarian companies

/KASE, March 17, 14/ – National managing holding "KazAgro" (Astana), whose bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following information statement of March 17, 2014: quote The Kazakhstan-Hungarian business forum is planned in the middle of May of this year in Astana. Discussion of questions of cooperation between the Hungarian companies and agricultural producers of Kazakhstan will organize by Kazagro National holding together with Embassy of Hungary in Kazakhstan and Agricultural Chamber of this country. The Astana forum of producers of agricultural production becomes a peculiar reciprocal mission after passed in March in Budapest of the similar action organized by the Hungarian agency on investments and trade (HITA). Meetings with the Hungarian partners are part of actions of the Kazakhstan holding on execution of orders of the Head of state connected with attraction of investments and technologies in economy of Kazakhstan, and also, the tasks set by the Government of the republic in this direction. In the capital of Hungary the delegation of the National managing director of Kazagro holding told partners about investment opportunities of the Kazakhstan agrarian and industrial complex, about measures of the state support within the Agrobusiness 2020 program and the Law "About Investments". During a forum bilateral meetings with a number of the companies which showed interest in cooperation with the Kazakhstan enterprises of agrosector also were held. Besides the agreement between EXIM Bank and Kazagro is reached upon creation of uniform fund for investment of joint projects in agrarian and industrial complex sector in the territory of Kazakhstan. As the head of "Kazagro" Dulat Aytzhanov at a meeting with representatives of the Hungarian agrobusiness noted, the Kazakhstan landowners intend to expand bilateral cooperation taking into account long-term specialization of Hungary. To us, production and meat processing, and also processing of fruit and vegetable production are interesting. At a business forum in Hungary the Kazakhstan delegation examined work of some agroenterprises of this country. In particular, businessmen visited a farm according to the maintenance of KRS of the Hunland company and plant on processing of vegetables and fruit – Mirelit Mirsa. Thus representatives of these producers expressed intention to participate and at a business forum in Astana where plan to meet the Kazakhstan partners and to discuss possible options of cooperation. "In Kazakhstan also there is a high potential on cultivation of fruit and vegetable production. We have its surplus during mass harvesting. At the same time, we don't cover the requirements during inter-season period, processing also has a poor development. Therefore we are aimed at attraction of the Hungarian technologies and in this sphere" - the chairman of the board of Kazagro holding Dulat Aytzhanov told at a meeting with businessmen from Hungary.
