/IRBIS, Dec.28, 99, transmitted again due to an error in dollar exchange rate change/ - The morning trades in US dollar, Deutsche mark and Euro were held at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) with TOD payment terms. 11 banks participated in the trades. Today the trades in US dollars opened at 138.14 tenge per unit. Total of 16 deals were made. Weighted average dollar exchange rate equaled to 138.12 (+0.09) tenge per unit. Volume of the session - $310 thousand (+$180 thousand). Exchange rate fluctuation during the trade did not exceed 0.03%. The trades were closed at 138.11/12 tenge per dollar. The conjuncture of the session did not change much relative to previous trades. Deals, whose volumes remain small, started from the middle of the session. Further, exchange rate of the dollar had a propensity to fall, affected by bi-directional fluctuations. The session proved the balance between demand for the dollar and its supply again. One hour after closing of the morning session on interbank market of Kazakhstan dollar was quoted at 138.02/06 tenge per unit, two hours later - 138.02/10.
