Processor CENTER of the Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan will begin the full volume cards operations in the 1st half of 2000

/IRBIS, Dec. 21, 99/ According to PRIME TASS, which refers to the company Compass Plus /Magnitogorsk/, the executor and coordinator of the project, Halyk Bank Halyk /Servings Bank of Kazakhstan/ will begin the realization of full volume cards operations in the 1st half of 2000. As it was informed earlier by PRIME TASS, at the end of September of the current year the bank has to set in operation a new processor center on the basis of BASE24 program complex /ACI company of U.S./ and Tandem, the specialized failure-safe equipment. Now the bank stage by stage transfers the cards service operations into the new center. The center will allow to the bank to expand the plastic cards issue and service, as well as the number of bank's services. In particular, investors of the Accumulated Pension fund of еру Servings Bank of Kazakhstan through the cash dispensers have received access to the information concerning the pension accumulated, and pensioners have started to receive payments through the bank's cash dispensers. Till now the bank has issued more than 230, 000 Altyn cards, the bank also works with the international cards. The bank has installed of 170 cash dispensers. The cards are accepted by 600 Kazakh trade and service enterprises and by 600 bank's branches. Some Kazakh and Kirghiz banks are participants of the system as well. The Compass Plus company is the unique authorized partner of ACI in Russia and the CIS countries.
