Output of industrial producers of Kazakhstan increased 101.5 percent up to 7 bln dollars from January to November

/IRBIS, Dec.14, 99/ - PRIME-TASS informs, with the reference to the
minister of economy Jaksybek Kulekeev, industrial producers of Kazakhstan
produced goods for 973.1 bln tenges /more than 7 bln dollars/ in real terms
from January to November, 1999.
He said growth in industrial output had been observed in 9 out of 16 regions
of Kazakhstan. Kyzyl-Orda region accounted for 19%, West-Kazakhstan -
16.5% and Karagandy - 10.4%.
Gross agricultural produce of the country reached 315.5 bln tenges /about
2.2 bln dollars/ in real terms during eleven months, 27.3 % up from last year,
including vegetables produce amounted to 178.8 bln tenges /about1.2 bln
dollars/, 52.2% up from last year's figure, livestock - 136 bln tenges /978.4
mln dollars/, 2.7% up.
In January to November of this year 199.8 bln tenges /about 1.4 bln dollars/,
11.6% up from last year, was invested in fixed capital. Consumer price index
is 115.9% to last year's December. Average per capita monetary income of
the population in nominal terms reached 32,277 tenges /about 232.2 dollars/,
8.9% up, and in real terms up 2.2%.
